PALOMA BLANCA : COMPANY PROFILE
Founded in 1937 by Manny Bernstein, Paloma Blanca was first known as Blue Bird Dress. His brother Harry later took over the business, and in the late 70s, Harry’s two sons Marty and Shimmy Bernstein began working for the family business. They envisioned expanding and worked together to increase distribution to hundreds of stores throughout the United States. Blue Bird Dress became Paloma Blanca and the company soon started to focus exclusively on the creation of bridal gowns and accessories.
Today the company continues to be family owned and operated and remains 100% Canadian made. By creating and producing all of our bridal gowns in our manufacturing facility in Toronto, Canada, we are able to implement the quality control checks necessary to ensure that every dress is finished impeccably and tastefully. Crafted from the highest quality fabrics and stunningly accented with beautiful hand detailing and beading, Paloma Blanca bridal gowns offer the look, feel, elegance, and classic sophistication of couture gowns at an attractive price.
Paloma Blanca has a renowned reputation for impeccable attention to detail, styling, fit and best-in-class service to brides and retailers. We have generated worldwide acclaim and respect within the bridal industry. Paloma Blanca’s flattering and inspiring designs have garnered a number of prestigious bridal industry awards, including the Distinctive Excellence in the Bridal Industry (DEBI) Award 2006, 2007, and 2008.
